First seal:

1. When butyl rubber is extruded, burrs appear and are not smooth.

Approach:

A. If it is a new machine, you should first observe whether the glue hole is smooth. If the glue hole is rough, you should polish it first, and then try the butyl rubber coating machine

B. If it is an old machine, because the temperature sensor of domestic equipment is sometimes insensitive, the displayed temperature does not match the actual temperature, so it should be adjusted upwards at a gradient of every 5 degrees on the basis of the displayed temperature until the glue is normal (Note: When setting, the temperature of the glue head should be about 5 degrees higher than the temperature of the glue tank).

2. Butyl glue does not stick to aluminum strips and glass

Solution:

Usually the reason is that the use temperature is low, it is recommended to adjust the temperature up until it is suitable.

3. After the second seal is completed, the cold flow of butyl rubber will appear after a period of time

Solution:

This kind of situation generally occurs when silicone glue is used for secondary sealing. Silicone glue with unstable quality can easily migrate out silicone oil, dissolve butyl rubber, and cause butyl rubber to flow. It is recommended to use silicone glue that meets the standard quality requirements .
